The RS7 uses a new three-way driver system developed from our flagship loudspeaker the R9. All drivers are produced in house to Rega’s exact specifications. This allows greater control over characteristics of each unit and ultimately this contributes a great deal to the outstanding sound quality.
One of the more important new features of the RS7 is the single side firing 7" bass driver, which utilises a 6 layer voice coil in aluminium rather than copper. This allows us to eradicate any crossover filters for this driver giving the bass seamless integration with the mid range unit and exceptional timing
